Bigger is better today in Crozet’s Old Trail neighborhood (which I love). And Craig Builders is knocking it out of the ballpark with his fabulous homes. But spending $800k on a home that sits on .15 of an acre almost seems ludicrous. Your neighbor is so close that they WILL get to know you and your family very well!
According to CAAR MLS, the price per acre comes out to a whopping $5,593,293.33. And the price per sq ft is $230 with a total of 4,248 sq ft.
I would want at least half an acre, myself (I live on a 7-acre mini-farm in Ivy). But if people are spending this kind of money then I will shut my mouth and welcome them to the area. The Old Trail neighborhood is wonderful and the golf course is a definite plus!
